The Game may not start because of "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package"
Please if you don't have this update refear to http://77.42.156.235/pop4-aniskhoury/vcredist_x86.exe

and some people have DirectX problems note that in the readme.txt DirectX version must be 10.0 with a package date of August 2008 @ least have fun my friends ;)

First of all,congratulations for the torrent,Prince of Persia 4 is awsome!!!But I have a problem with the game.I dont know why,but it seems that the 1st of the 4 blocks is like it doesnt exist.When i say block,I mean the ruined citadel.When I got to the kings gate,I reach a point where I cant do anything,because there is a big hole,the graphics are gone.My computer is not the problem,I run the game at 1680x1050 with 8x ant-aliasing.I 've been playing for a while now,and now I can't gather enough seeds to aquire the 3rd power of Elika.I hope you can help me.

I don't know much about this problems but i guess it maybe a directX problem.
I finished that game and i didn't have any problem my graphic card was ATI readon HD 2600 Pro /512mb i used a high graphic quality and a low resolution like 800x600 no bugs nothing.
All i can do if you want to view the game in all places on the map i can give you the last saves of the game

Hi aniskhuryEBML, i downloaded POP4 but i want to change the resolution and stuff... but ive heard you can only do it in the launcher-- now see, this is the prob, i think it needs some reg keys to start? couse when i try to start it, it sais no.. :'( is there another way to change the resolution and textures/graphic in generall?

I know I'm going to get crap for this, but I don't see an installer. I see a couple of Launchers: 1 takes me into settings, the other says I'm missing a DLL.

Has no one else encountered this? It would help to know the contents of the ZIP file.

-Vasfy: i really don't know about that graphic problem you have so iam sorry.
-pixelharcos: their are 4 monsters in the game, but i think ur thalking about the giant monster @ the reined citadel this guy can't be killed and you must face it more than 5 times the trick is to push him by doing combos to a locker room or throw him from a high place so enjoy ;)

great torrent, works perfect with DirectX 10.
I just have one problem - when the game is opened, it runs in 800*600 resolution even though my screen is 1680*1050, so question: "Can't this game run a full screen resolution?" - - I have of course checked Options and all.

Anyway, if anyone have the same noob problem as me, you go into the folder "Launcher" and in there click icon launcher, which will access you to the settings where U can change the resolution.
